NFM – Near Field Microphone
Discom’s NFM is specifically designed as a replacement for structure-borne sensors when contactless vibration measurement is required. The NFM is suitable for rounded surfaces and similar positions where a typical Discom BKS-type sensor cannot be used effectively. It has been tailored for a frequency range from 300 Hz to 17 KHz, making it an excellent choice for acoustical quality control and defect detection. The best best background noise attenuation is achieved between 300 Hz and 3 KHz, ensuring accurate and reliable measurements in various environments.
Use scenarios
NFM works for rounded surfaces and similar positions which do not allow structure borne noise sensors such as Discom BKS-type
